Message Well, I have spent two years & $35,000 waiting on my car to be right. All time and money were invested at Z1. They still have my car. I have driven the car a grand total of 3,000 miles since they first got it back in August of 2006. Every engine pull and upgrade will take 4 months if you have the time. Every Stage 1+ Engine will take 6 months, if you have the time. They can't seem to employ a quality machine shop.

I am so disappointed in these guys. They seem to want to do a good job, but they just can't deliver.

The good spirited ribbing I get from my motorhead buddies is making me sick..."Maybe you will get that car back by the time you are 40.", "Why don't you just buy a different car."

I spent 2003 to 2006 in and out of Iraq. This is my shore tour away from the action and I have wasted two years of absolute frustration with these gentlemen. Wasted too are all the $$$ I earned in combat.

It's a great website. It's a clean shop with great equipment. J-Lo has an awesome Z with decals all over her car and magazine spreads like no other. I see all the pictures of the Z Nationals there at Z1 and I am left wondering why my car can't be like theirs especially considering the money, time and FAITH in their promises.

If they come through for me, I will repost. I am skeptical.

Honestly, those in the Atlanta area could afford to do business with Z1. But if you are anywhere else in the U.S., just do yourself a favor, give your business and trust to another company.

Seedy, well said. I have watched the posts over the years and every once in a while, the New Guys and Gals need a refresher.

Russell said to me that most of the Z1 haters were those that had never even been to Z1 or had conducted business with Z1. Well, I am VERY different.

Russell: I still believe in you guys, I just want my car back, with that beautiful Stage III engine and Z06 crushing 675's zooming beyond 600RWHP. I miss it. Miss the boost, miss the jaw-dropping acceleration (other's not mine...).

For those of you that are tired of Z1 hating posts, read Seedy's message and move on. If anything, sing the praises of the shop you chose.

Good Luck Z lovers. Choose your shop carefully.
